THE IDEAS FUND

Impact

Everyone deserves the opportunity to bring their ideas to life.

Our mission is to create a world where anyone with an idea can make it happen.

But first, we need to level the playing field.

Introducing

The

Ideas

Fund

Set up to support entrepreneurs who have had setbacks to bring their ideas to life. Whether they have been displaced, caught in conflict or not received opportunities others take for granted.

Learn more about our first initiatives for the fund on the link below. We will be sharing more information this coming year about the percentage of profits we will be donating alongside ways you can also support these projects.

This is not a charity.

The Ideas Fund is an extension of our mission to create a world where ANYONE* with an idea can find space to make it happen.

By providing access to space, mentorship and community together we can create equal opportunities for those with talent, vision and ambition, who have had setbacks at no fault of their own.

*ANYONE — Talent, creativity and entrepreneurship can come from anyone - regardless of race, religion, background or borders, whoever they are, wherever they’re from.

Welcome

Here

Empowering refugees

‘Welcome Here’ was inspired by Imad, a refugee, who showed us how the power of an idea can bring people together and turn a new city into a home.

Imad Alarnab was a successful entrepreneur living in Syria. He had several popular restaurants, juice bars and cafes. However, at the height of the Syrian war, it took just six days for them all to be destroyed. Arriving in the UK Imad wanted to rebuild his life - for himself and his family and although he worked as a car salesman he was of course - a chef. When we heard Imad’s story we knew we wanted to be a part of it and support him in any way we could. We did this by providing him space for his first supper club, access to designers to design logos and menus and access to people to staff and operate his pop-up. Imad took this opportunity, sold out every sitting in a month and today has his own restaurant in Soho. What this shows is that by giving someone access to opportunities that they deserve, amazing things can happen.

This year, we plan to empower more entrepreneurial refugees like Imad to have the opportunity that they deserve by providing them access to space to make their idea happen.
