The Meadows Shopping Centre has plenty to offer. It houses national favourites such as Fat Face, Warehouse and BHS, alongside bespoke brands and local retailers. It is also home to an Odeon Cinema, which is the only one in the city.Due to it’s central location, the Meadow’s has become a community hub for Chelmsford. This shopping centre actively engages in initiatives from the local community, from hosting The Essex Young Trade Fayre - giving young entrepreneurs space in the mall to sell their inspired creations, to allowing charities and community based projects to appear in the centre free of charge. The Meadows is also recognised for its Shopmobility initiative. It aims to make shopping easy and accessible for whatever age you are by providing mobility scooters, wheelchairs, pushchairs and kiddi cabs.
