Notting Hill Fish shop was founded by Chris D’Sylva along with his partner (and master fishmonger) Fredrick Lindfors. The pair chose to open a pop-up as it gave them freedom to figure out the initial stages of their business. Classed as essential retail, they were able to stay open during each lockdown and became a staple of the local community. Their various initiatives (from an in-store DJ to collaborations with chefs to create meal kits) made them preferable to a trip to the supermarket. At their busiest, the team had queues round the block and have now expanded with two additional branches.
